Before you start
- Your IPTV UK Fast login — emailed after you choose a plan or request a free trial.
- A stable connection of at least 10 Mbps for HD or 25 Mbps for 4K. Not sure? Read what broadband speed you need for IPTV.
- A Samsung or LG Smart TV from 2018 or newer, signed in to its app store.
- Your TV’s MAC address may be needed for some apps — find it under Settings → Support/General → About this TV → Network.
Samsung Smart TV (Tizen)
- Press Home, go to Apps and search for the player app named in your welcome email.
- Select Install, then Open. Note the device ID or MAC address shown on screen if prompted.
- Enter your username, password and server URL, or send us the device ID and we will activate it for you.
- Restart the app. Channels, on-demand and the TV guide will appear within about a minute.
LG Smart TV (webOS)
- Press the Home button and open the LG Content Store.
- Search for the recommended player, install it and open it.
- Choose Add playlist / Xtream login and enter the details from your email.
- Press Save, wait for loading to finish, then pin the app to your launcher bar.
Smart TV Wi-Fi chips are often weaker than a dedicated streaming stick. If you see buffering, connect an Ethernet cable — it is the single biggest improvement you can make.
Best picture settings
- Switch picture mode to Movie or Filmmaker Mode for accurate colours.
- Turn off motion smoothing (Auto Motion Plus on Samsung, TruMotion on LG) for natural movement — or set it to low for sport.
- In the player app, set the stream format to HLS if live channels stutter.
Troubleshooting
- “Invalid login” error — check for spaces at the start or end of your username and password; they are case-sensitive.
- Channels load but freeze — restart the device and router, then switch to a wired connection or 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Our guide to fixing IPTV buffering walks through all eight fixes.
- TV guide is empty — open the app settings and choose “Update EPG”, then wait a minute for the guide to download.

Smart TV IPTV FAQ
Do I need a Firestick if I have a Smart TV?
No. Most Samsung and LG TVs from 2018 onwards can run a player app directly. A Firestick can still be faster on older or budget TVs.
Does it work on Sony, Philips or Hisense TVs?
Sony, Philips and many Hisense/TCL TVs run Google TV or Android TV — follow our Android TV guide instead.
Why can’t I find the app on my Samsung TV?
App availability varies by model year and region. Contact us with your TV model number and we will recommend an alternative.
